Frame construction Prince Textreme Phantom 100

The Prince Textreme Phantom 100 is a rather special racket. The racket works with an ultra-narrow frame construction. According to Prince, this is also the thinnest racket on the market. This frame construction, in combination with a very low RA value (stiffness) of 60, ensures an unprecedented connection with the ball. You hold the ball relatively longer before it is released again. This means a great deal of precision in steering and placing the ball. This goes hand in hand with little impact for the arm and therefore a great deal of playing comfort. This makes it possible to use a somewhat stiffer, low-powered polyester string without any problems in the fairly open 16/18 stringing pattern of the Prince Textreme Phantom 100. This stringing pattern ensures a lot of dynamics and quite a lot of spin potential.

Technology and playing features

Prince uses 2 of its most successful racket technologies ever in this racket. The O-ports (holes) are back in a Tour racket! These (renewed) O-ports at 3, 9 and 12 o'clock in the frame provide a very generous sweet spot, extra damping and longer 'grabbing' of the ball in the strings. This technology in combination with the ultra-thin frame construction and low RA value strengthens the long ball-string contact and connection with the ball. This gives the racket an unprecedented ball feel for a competition frame. The other technology that the brand applies in the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 is the application of Textreme in the heart of the racket. Textreme is a new way of weaving carbon, which gives the rackets a higher torsional stiffness in the heart of the frame, where the frame 'bends' the most at ball impact.
