Prince Textreme Phantom 100 is the narrowest frame on the market with a very low RA value of 60. Prince brings all technology and know-how together in this frame. Mijnracket.nl player Stephan

Prince is launching a completely new line of rackets with the Prince Textreme Phantom 100. As a tester, I am of course very curious to see how this already unique frame plays.
Prince Textreme Phantom 100 tested:
Baseline:
The first few balls from the baseline feel a bit strange. The impact of the balls on the racket is very cushioned. Probably due to the combination of Textreme, low RA value and O-ports. The racket is so arm-friendly that a dampener is not actually necessary. The feel of the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 is similar to the
Prince Textreme Tour 95 , but the frame feels different in the hand because it is not box beam but round and ultra slim. The latter benefits control. After a few hours of hitting, the first impression is not always the best. Once used to the frame, the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 hits wonderfully from the baseline. Super cushioned and arm-friendly with just enough power and control to hit deep, heavy balls with great precision. In my opinion, the power level 775 is spot-on and perhaps even a bit on the cautious side. With a full swing you can deliver some pretty hard hits. From the baseline I constantly have the feeling that I have everything under control and can swing freely without producing strange deviations.
I can fully complete my one-handed backhand. Also the backhand slice that I like
I could hit the lines precisely with the Prince Textreme Tour 95, but I can also hit the lines with this Prince Textreme Phantom 100. In addition to the unprecedented precision, heavy spin balls are also very easy to produce due to the open string pattern. It is striking that for a head size of 100 sq/inch with a fairly open 16/18 string pattern, the racket is super stable. I have found that with few other frames. Except for the
Prince Textreme Warrior 107, which provides the same remarkable stability despite the enormous head size. As far as I am concerned, this is a unique feature of the Prince frames.
Service:
With the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 you can produce razor-sharp services. It
power level of the frame is not very high. Due to the low balance of 31.0 you can still generate speed quite easily. You will have to put something into it yourself, either with a smooth, fast technique or with some muscle strength. In short, if you are strong enough or have a flexible technique, you can deliver great services.
Just:
The Prince Textreme Phantom 100 performs excellently at the net as expected. I could put away razor-sharp volleys. However, I had to finish my technique well to generate sufficient punching power. In addition to hitting my one-handed backhand, volleying with the Phantom 100 is the stroke that I felt most comfortable with. Wonderfully damped and super easy to maneuver at the net due to the low balance.
Power:
As mentioned, the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 does not offer excessive power. Due to the average weight of 310 grams and the low balance, you can create a lot of racket head speed with good technique, so that the frame produces more than enough power. In combination with the large sweet spot and the open string pattern, you can place many heavy balls close to the lines.
Check:
This Phantom 100 offers a lot of control with a forgiving, large sweet spot. Even more than the Prince Textreme Tour 95, this Prince Textreme Phantom 100 has a unique combination of control, feel and power. This means that as a player you always have the feeling that you have complete control of the ball without losing too much length in your strokes.
Comfort/Arm-friendliness:
The Prince Textreme Phantom 100 feels comfortable in every respect and gave me no arm problems. I think the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 is the most arm-friendly racket I have played so far in the “Pro” category.
Overall impression:
It seems that Prince has put all her experience and proven techniques into this new frame. Potentially the ultimate racket. After my racket test, I dare to say that with this Textreme Phantom 100, Prince has succeeded in launching a completely new generation of frames on the market that, in my opinion, could determine the future. The unique ball feeling of the Textreme material, the low RA value, the enormous sweet spot and
spin potential through the O-ports and the string pattern in combination with the control of the ultra-slim frame make the Prince Textreme Phantom 100 way ahead of its time. The color and glossy finish also contribute to the mystical appearance of this brilliant racket. I would be very surprised if we don't see the Phantom racket line back on the Tour very soon. The quality that has been demonstrated with this Prince Textreme Phantom 100 is unparalleled and should not go unnoticed!
