This update to the Wilson Juice 100 has two new applications. Wilson has added Amplifeel 360 to the grip for less vibration and a cleaner ball feel. In addition, Parallel Drilling has been used in the new Wilson Juice 100: the holes for the tubing are drilled parallel to each other, which increases the ideal hitting zone for the ball. This makes the racket very forgiving and comfortable. The racket is in line with the Babolat Pure Drive.
The fact that the Wilson Juice 100 is a real power frame is evident from the wide frame construction and the high RA value (stiffness) of 73. In combination with a fairly open 16/18 stringing pattern, this provides a good dose of impact power. However, the 16/18 stringing pattern in the 100 sq/inch head size has sufficient spin potential to control this power. Wilson scales the Juice racket line for the 'Allcourter', the player who covers the entire court. The frame is indeed easy to maneuver and also feels stable on the net.
Compared to its predecessor, this frame feels slightly stiffer and offers more power. The standard Wilson Sensation 16 multifilament stringing offers a lot of ball feeling and comfort, but slightly less control. For players looking for a little more control, it is advisable to play the Wilson Juice 100 with a polyester or hybrid stringing.
All in all, the Wilson Juice 100 has had an excellent update and is a super all-round racket that gives you absolute value for your money!
