Yonex will be launching a new EZONE racket line this fall, the EZONE DR. The Yonex EZONE DR (Dynamic Repulsion) line is the successor to the EZONE Ai series and offers super-fast frames, power and all-round performance.
The Yonex EZONE DR line is Yonex's answer to the new Babolat Pure Aero racket line and, as you would expect from the Japanese brand, it once again houses a truckload of beautiful technological applications. The bad boy of tennis, Australian Nick Kyrgios, will be the figurehead of this new racket line. The Yonex EZONE DR line is the first racket line to feature the Namometric DR carbon graphite material. This high-tech material provides a combination of more flex and power. The new shape of the tubing also effectively gives the new EZONE DR line a larger sweet spot. The Aero Shape frame construction and the Isometric blade shape are retained, as is the Quake Shut Gel+ material in the shaft for extra vibration damping. All this technology provides a racket line with 'devastating speed, power and performance', as Yonex itself so beautifully puts it.
The following models of the Yonex EZONE DR line will be available on the Dutch market around mid-October:
- EZONE DR 98 (310 grams): 98 sq/inch, 310 grams, 31.0 balance, 16/19 stringing pattern
- EZONE DR 100 (300 grams): 100 sq/inch, 300 grams, 32.0 balance, 16/19 stringing pattern
- EZONE DR Lite: 100 sq/inch, 270 grams, 33.0 balance, 16/19 string pattern
- EZONE DR Lite Lady: 100 sq/inch, 270 grams, 33.0 balance, 16/19 stringing pattern
- EZONE DR 98 Alpha: 98 sq/inch, 275 grams, 33.0 balance, 16/19 stringing pattern
- EZONE DR 108: 108 sq/inch, 255 grams, 33.5 balance, 16/18 stringing pattern
- EZONE DR JR 26: 102 sq/inch, 250 grams, 32.0 balance, 16/19 string pattern, 26 inch JR length
