Yonex VCORE 2018/2019

The Yonex VCORE 2018/2019 series follows the VCORE SV series and offers the most spin ever in Yonex tennis rackets!

New Yonex racket families

The new Yonex VCORE 2018/2019 series will be released in mid-August 2018! This line replaces the VCORE SV series. Yonex keeps things nice and clear with 3 competition racket lines with short and concise names. The VCORE Pro series offers the most control-oriented rackets. This ('regular') VCORE series offers maximum spin combined with power and the EZONE series offers power and above-average comfort. In addition, Yonex also has the Astel series for the recreational player with a short/compact swing. This line offers low-impact rackets for the arm and shoulder, but does not fall within the competition segment.

Yonex VCORE 2018/2019

But now we focus on the new VCORE 2018/2019 series! This Yonex line will be played the most on the Tour with Denis Shapovalov and Angelique Kerber as the figureheads. These modern frames offer an excellent 'spin window' for the player who wants to dominate with a lot of power and spin. Just like in the new VCORE Pro series, the VCORE series uses the material Namd for the first time. Namd graphite has a unique flex that ensures a faster snapback of the frame. This allows you to 'grip' the ball even more for dominant spin. Other eye-catching technologies are the AeroFins in the top of the blade for reduced air resistance and AeroTrench . With the AeroTrench technology, the tubings in the racket top are concealed in a notch in the frame. This also ensures reduced air resistance. In addition, this offers extra freedom of movement for the length strings to make the ball rotation easier.

VCORE models 2018/2019

Below are the new models and specs of the VCORE series that will be available for the Benelux. It is also worth mentioning that the VCORE 98 has gone to a 16x19 string pattern, where the SV version had a 16x20 string pattern.
