Playing characteristics Diadem Elevate 98 Tour V3:
The Elevate 98 Tour V3 is the big brother of the regular Elevate 98 V3. Although the differences may seem small, they are significant. The Tour has a slightly higher RA for even more power. In order to get the racket round properly, the balance is half a point lower compared to the regular 98. This racket has a wonderfully full playing feel and nice plow-through. You can make this racket work for you, provided you have a good full swing and get the racket behind the ball in time of course. But if you do this, you get a huge full ball in return.
The racket feels very solid at ball impact. Because the racket is so stable, it hardly twists. The result is that harmful vibrations are excellently dampened. This is also because the frame is not hollow. Just like the V2, the racket has a rib structure against the inside of the racket wall. In the V3, a special type of rubber substance, called Kraibon, is placed around this. The frame is then completely filled with high-density foam. This 3-unit ensures an extremely arm-friendly control racket; almost a pro-stock-like feel.
This Tour version is the ultimate competition racket from Diadem. So do you have enough muscles and are you looking for a top control racket with sufficient punch, stability and good damping properties? Then this is a big recommendation! Our extensive review of the Elevate 98 Tour V3 will follow soon.
