The Speed series follows on from Head's well-known Alpha series. That makes this Speed Pro 2023 the successor to the Alpha Pro. In addition to a new name and new looks, the new Speeds use Auxetic technology. This technology around the heart of the racket provides a super stable feeling at ball impact, great ball feeling and fewer vibrations. The Speed Pro is also 5 grams lighter than its predecessor, the Alpha Pro. Another innovation is in the butt cap/racket cap. This is filled with a soft/gel-like material for extra vibration damping to reduce the risk of blisters.
All in all, a strong update in terms of speed and comfort of a racket with a fine balance between power and control.
