The Babolat RPM Team has a higher elasticity than the RPM Blast. This makes the string clearly more comfortable and playable for a wider audience. This string also works with the well-known octagonal construction for extra ball bite and the 'Cross Linked Silicone' coating. This coating allows the main strings to easily slide out of position and then quickly snap back to their original position. This extra snapback ensures more RPMs, or more ball rotation/spin. The Babolat RPM Team 1.25 is an excellent choice for the player who wants to switch to a polyester string because of the higher durability and direct feedback and control, but is looking for a bit of comfort.
