The Counter Viper 2024 is the ultimate control racket in the Babolat line-up. All top technologies come together in this racket for an optimal mix of comfort and control for the tactically minded player. This racket has a hybrid head shape that is closest to round. The top is reinforced with 3K Carbon. Together with robust X-EVA foam, this provides sufficient power, without sacrificing ball feeling and touch. Because this is the most control-oriented Viper of all, the amount of carbon in the blade is less than the Technical or Air Viper. What you get in return is more touch and control than its brothers, while still having enough power to tackle the balls nicely. The balance is slightly at the top for extra power and stability, but fortunately this is not at the expense of the agility and handling speed of this racket. The blade has a 3D Spin+ texture for extra grip on the ball. The comfort has been significantly increased by means of elastomers that are interwoven with the carbon fibers in the blade. This dampening material is also in the handle. Finally, you can also remove the wriststrap to wash or to exchange it for a different color.
