Technology Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 2020

The Pure Strike 16x19 2020 is the successor to the successful Pure Strike 16x19 2017, also known as 'Project One7'. The hybrid frame construction, called Control Frame Technology, combines the control and playing feel of a traditional flat frame construction with the power of a round frame construction. This makes this racket very versatile. In terms of play, this results in a racket with a good mix of control and power. In the previous version, the cross strings were pulled apart a bit more for easier access to spin and power. This FSI power technology is also included in this update. The biggest difference, however, is the added C2 Pure Feel technology, which provides significantly more damping.

Playing features

The Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 2020 offers a nice mix of control, power and spin. Of the 3 Babolat racket families, this series clearly offers the most control and is therefore suitable for players with an average to full swing. This update of the Pure Strike 16x19 provides a more stable playing experience, but also clearly more damping. As a result, the racket may no longer feel as extremely direct as its predecessor, but the racket does offer more touch and comfort. This makes the sweet spot feel slightly more generous and you get slightly easier ball pocketing for spin. For the rest, the good balance between power and control with spin potential remains. Players who play the previous version will have little trouble switching to this new version. Especially the desired update in comfort is a strong one. Great update of the Pure Strike 16x19!
