Technology and playing characteristics Wilson Blade 100L V9:
For this update of the Blade 100L, Wilson has made a number of small adjustments. For example, the RA (stiffness) has remained the same for this version of the Blade, but the stability has clearly improved. The quality control should also be tightened. The rackets should be closer together in terms of specs (weight, balance and swingweight). Always nice if you need multiple rackets as a competition player of course. Stablefeel technology should provide more stability and the renewed bumpers (recognizable by the 2 green grommets at 10 and 2 o'clock) are super easy to change/remove. This is very useful for tuning/matching rackets, but also for replacing the bumper itself in due course.
This lighter version of the Blade 100 is a bit easier to get around, but still offers the well-known Blade playing feel with fine, direct control over the ball. The 100 sq/inch blade size makes this a forgiving option with good feedback. This makes this Blade 100L V9 an ideal growth option. Finally, the spin potential is also excellent due to the 16x19 stringing pattern in combination with the 100 sq/inch blade size.
The Wilson Blade 100L V9 offers the familiar Blade playing feel at 285 grams with a 100 sq/inch head size. Ideal tool for the ambitious player who wants to grow.
