Just when we thought we had seen everything in tennis shoes, Nike comes with the NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly tennis shoe. With the looks of a basketball shoe, this shoe should offer 'explosive speed' as well as a 'glove-like fit'. Read more...

After the football and basketball shoes with 'sock', Nike now also comes with a tennis shoe with 'sock' in this NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly. Nick Kyrgios, Eugenie Bouchard and Jack Sock (what's in the name?) can be seen on this high-tech tennis shoe from now on. The NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly has the following features:

- Flyknit ankle collar for a glove-like fit and light support but above all comfort around the ankles
- Flywire lacing system for optimal foot enclosure for lateral support
- Zoom Air cushioning under the heel and forefoot
- Kurim and mesh upper for lightweight forefoot support and durability
- Cushioning Phylon midsole

The NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly has a medium-narrow fit and is quite small. Compared to the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9.5 we previously reviewed, the Air Zoom Ultrafly has you standing a little higher in the shoe and the shoe feels a little less 'direct'. The NikeCourt Air Zoom Ultrafly is available in an all-court and clay sole and with a recommended retail price of 200 euros it is not cheap, but it is groundbreaking!
