1. Babolat Pure Aero 2019
Our more than rightful number 1 is the new Babolat Pure Aero. Mike put it through its paces and found improved stability, vibration dampening and a more consistent performance. All this while maintaining the well-known spin and power; a rock-solid update of the Pure Aero!
2. Dunlop CX 200 Tour 18x20
Only recently extensively tested by Stephan and according to himself 'the best control racket of the year'. This Dunlop CX 200 Tour 18x20 is a wonderful frame for ultimate control, fast swings, fine volleys and excellent vibration dampening. The partnership of Dunlop with the Japanese Srixon has been very successful so far!3. Prince Textreme Phantom Pro 93P
An ultimate classic 'players racket' with modern technology. Wafer-thin frame with low RA value of 61 for a great connection with the ball. This Prince Textreme Phantom Pro 93P is for the powerhouses among us.
4. Yonex VCORE 98
Stephan tested the Yonex VCORE 98 and was impressed by the stability, speed and spin of this racket. Great racket to put your opponents under pressure. Also lightning fast at the net.5. Wilson Progrip Max Lotion
Small but nice! Prince used to have the rights to this magic stuff, now Wilson. A drop of this Progrip Max Lotion is good for 45 minutes to an hour of dry hands! Great stuff!
6. Diadem Elevate 98
A very surprising newcomer on the racket market is Diadem with the Elevate 98 ! This racket (in the range of the Wilson Blade and Babolat Pure Strike), plays incredibly solid and is completely filled with foam!
7. Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 3 CC tennis shoes
Mizuno continues to produce excellent tennis shoes. It was not without reason that the Mizuno Wave Exceed Tour 3 CC was the tennis shoe of Kiki Bertens, before she went for the big money of Fila. High-quality shoe that combines comfort and durability with speed.
8. Head Graphene 360 Extreme MP
The tastiest version of the new Extreme series, according to Mike. The Head Graphene 360 Extreme MP offers a lot of playability, big spin and punch, but is also very stable.
9. Head Graphene 360 Speed MP
Great makeover of the Speed series by Head! The new Head Graphene 360 Speed MP is playable for a wider audience, loses some stability, but gains ball rotation and maneuverability.
10. Wilson Clash Rackets for 2019
Actually, this one doesn't belong in the Top 10 of 2018 yet, but the new Wilson Clash plays so impressively that it will definitely be a top product in 2019! Solid power, insane comfort, good spin potential in a lightning-fast racket with an RA of around 55. A tour de force by Wilson! An extensive review of the Wilson Clash (prototype) will follow early January 2019. A special word of thanks goes out to our suppliers and partners. In 2018, for example, we held our annual racket test day for the 5th time. The date for 2019 has also been announced, Saturday March 23! All the best for 2019!
