The Babolat Pure Drive VS (2-pack) is now available in our webshop, including a string of your choice. VS versions of both the Pure Aero and Pure Strike series already exist. These 'hybrid' frames actually combine 2 types of frames. With the Pure Aero VS you see this in an Aero shaft combined with a box-beam frame construction for the blade. With the Pure Strike VS you also see the same shaft as the regular Pure Strike, but then combined with a box-beam housing for the blade. Now follows the Babolat Pure Drive in a VS version.

Babolat Pure Drive VS frames
The Babolat Pure Drive VS will be released in January 2019 as a duo pack: the rackets are only available in pairs. The great thing about these duo packs is that the quality control on these duo packs is a lot higher than normal. With a 'weight tolerance' of only 1.9 grams vs 7 grams for the regular Pure Drive, this difference is significant. In terms of frame construction, this Pure Drive VS differs little from the regular Pure Drive. So no box-beam housing for the blade. However, the Pure Drive VS does have a smaller blade size and a lower RA value, which should give the racket more control and touch. The comfort should also be higher.
