The innovative American string brand Diadem is best known for its revolutionary star-shaped strings . What many do not know is that the brand also has two excellent overgrips. We previously tested the Pro Feel overgrip . Now it's the turn of the thinner and stickier Diadem Pro Touch overgrip.

Playing characteristics

The Diadem Pro Touch overgrip is a thin and tacky overgrip with a soft, comfortable feel. The truly unique thing about this overgrip is its enormous adhesive power. This means the grip performs excellently in hot and humid conditions. The Pro Touch overgrip also offers great adhesive power in cold and dry conditions. The overgrip has a thickness of 0.60 mm and therefore has little or no influence on your grip size. The PU material has a soft feel, but also above-average durability. The Pro Touch overgrip is very easy to install. The grip feels slightly stretchy, making it easy to tighten it over the basic grip. The grip is also nice and long and therefore suitable for extended rackets and/or players with a double-handed backhand. The grip can be compared to the Yonex Supergrap, Babolat Pro Tour and the Pacific XTack Pro. I personally tested this overgrip extensively during the winter season in the hall. I sometimes suffer from 'damp hands' on the track. With the Pro Touch overgrip you don't have to worry about that! I tested this grip at a firm level during 4 sessions of one and a half hours (6 hours in total). The adhesive power of this overgrip was excellent from start to finish. Of course, it is best fresh out of the package, even extreme! I always replace my overgrips fairly quickly, partly as a preventive measure to always maintain a good grip.
