Intro:

Actually feels this Extreme Tour absolutely not  as An Extreme. It is as if you An racket out  An whole other racket family in the hand have. By the previous Extreme series have I the MP and Pro versions extended tested. This were both racquets of massive power and spider, whereby control clearly subordinate was. This Tour is complete new in the Extreme racket family, It is than also An complete new mold.

Yet even for the completeness: I have this racket in the black 'teaser' color scheme to be allowed to testing, yet roomy for the official release by middle August. The definitive colour stands above bee the specs and is becoming gray of yellow. Where the Instinct racket family bee Head fewer models gets, gets this new Extreme series there but sweetest 7! Head has high expectations by this renewed Extremes. At us to at to test or this expectations also (be able to) become fulfilled.

Baseline:

The first to succeed from the baseline feel all checked On. There sit Certainly well what punch in this Head Graphene 360+ Extreme Tour, but you can there Delicious full with cross out without fast scared at hooves are to the control at to lose. It is so clearly control about power. In addition fell immediately on that It racket Tasty fast and comfortable maneuverable is. On the other hand had I yet more ball rotation expected, probably in the science that I An Extreme On It to test was. Still was It grip by the ball for spider and slice roomy sufficient present, only not  such as bee the MP and Pro versions by both the old as the new series. About feeling sit It racket An bit between An Yonex EZONE 98 and An Babolat Pure Strike 16x19 in. It racket is not  Like this soft and comfortable as the EZONE 98, but also weather not  Like this directly as the Pure Strike 16x19.

My favorite stroke with this racket is my double-handed backhand. The racket is very easy and quick to get behind the ball and there is enough space for my second hand when hitting a double-handed backhand. To me, the frame almost tapers a bit from grip to heart piece, which makes it very nice to place the second hand (in my case the left, I am right-handed). Very nice I must say. From the baseline this is a reliable tool.

Service:

For me personally, this Extreme Tour does not lack 'free power' when it comes to serving. The services were very controlled and with sufficient kick and slice. Only I would have liked a bit more power, but that is a personal thing. I think that if you have a bit more power yourself, you can serve very full and controlled (consistent) with this racket.

Just:

The Head Graphene 360+ Extreme Tour is nice and fast at the net and certainly holds its own. The racket is not easy to push away with hard balls, but also offers enough ingenuity for stop volleys.

Power/control Head Graphene 360+ Extreme Tour:

So it's control over power with this Extreme Tour. The racket has a relatively low swingweight of 317. This means that the racket is inferior in terms of power to, for example, a Wilson Blade 98 16x19 V7.0 or a Babolat Pure Strike 16x19. However, this can easily be increased with some lead at 10 and 2 o'clock or just at 12 o'clock. That would give the racket a significant boost in power and the specs offer sufficient space for this. However, the control is nice. You can really pull through with this racket without having to worry about losing control.

Comfort/arm friendliness :

The comfort was actually very good with this racket. The frame is solid and twists little, which in turn transmits little vibration to the arm. This racket scores more than sufficient on this aspect.

Bottom line:

Head has released a special model with this Extreme Tour, one that bears the Extreme name, but in my opinion could just as well have been released in the Radical family, for example. It is a nice control-oriented frame and the specs and the still relatively low swingweight of 317 (measured on our 3-in-1 Head swingweight machine) make this a nice 'platform' frame. This racket has ideal specs to screw up/tune yourself. I personally thought the Extreme Tour played fine in stock form, but it lacked a little extra punch like colleagues from other brands. On the other hand, the control was great! All in all, this Tour version of the renewed Extreme line is a unique racket in the Head line-up and therefore certainly worth testing!
