What is Textreme?
Textreme is an innovative carbon fiber material that remains lighter than conventionally woven carbon fibers due to a new weaving technique. This material is already successfully used in various sectors, such as car racing, ice hockey sticks and racing bicycles. For example, cyclist Marcel Kittel won four stages in the Tour de France last year on a bicycle made of Textreme.
Prince is the first brand to use this advanced material in tennis rackets.
Benefits of Textreme in Tennis Rackets
Textreme offers several advantages in tennis rackets:
- More torsional stability: This provides a more stable racket, especially with hard balls.
- Better impact resistance: The racket is more forgiving on off-center hits, meaning less stress on the arm.
- Retaining feel and maneuverability: Despite the added stability, the racket remains easy to maneuver.
The combination of these features makes Textreme rackets not only easier on the arm, but also more powerful and stable, without sacrificing control and feel.
