The Wilson Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph 2016 retains the same specs as its predecessor : 97 sq/inch head size, 340 grams clean on the hook, a nice low 30.5 balance and a 16/19 string pattern. The racket comes in a sleek matte black finish, with a black leather grip, an image of Federer himself in the heart of the racket and with a 'laser-engraved' Pro Staff logo.
The Wilson Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph 2016 is the racket to the exact specs of Roger Federer himself. Since the previous version of the Pro Staff, Federer plays with a 97 sq/inch head size for a little bit of extra power and forgiveness in combination with excellent spin potential. The new Wilson Pro Staff series for 2016 will be completed with a Pro Staff 97 (97 sq/inch, 315 grams, 31.0 balance, 16/19 string pattern) , a Pro Staff 97S (97 sq/inch, 310 grams, 32.5 balance, 18/17 string pattern with a 19.5 mm ultra-thin frame construction. Grigor Dimitrov will possibly play with this racquet.
In addition, there will be a new Pro Staff 97 LS (97 sq/inch, 290 grams, 32.5 balance and 18/16 string pattern) and a Pro Staff 97 ULS (97 sq/inch, 270 grams, 32.5 balance and 18/16 string pattern). The line will be continued with two youth models: the Pro Staff 26 and 25.
