The Adidas Metalbone 2026 is one of the most power-oriented rackets from the new 2026 Metalbone collection. For this update of the well-known Metalbone, the same mold was used as that of the 3.4 version. This racket has 16k carbon aluminized in the blade for solid power, but despite this, it does not feel too harsh and clunky thanks to the Soft Performance Foam. Another advantage of this material lay-up is that it performs and feels consistently, regardless of conditions and temperatures, according to Adidas.

What remains in this update of the Metalbone is the Power Extra Grip. This extended grip provides more 'leverage' and thus more power in your shots. The updated core of the racket provides improved stability and therefore more control.

You can now also remove or add extra weight to both the bottom of the blade as well as the top of the blade. With the 2024 version, this was only possible around the core of the racket. In that regard, you can now customize the racket much more!

The Adidas Metalbone 2026 is the successor to the Metalbone 3.4 and comes with a luxury cover and separate top tape protective tape that you can apply yourself if desired.

For the Adidas Metalbone 2026, the brand uses 2-to-1 aluminized carbon in the head. This production process, in which carbon fibers are interwoven with aluminum, provides extra power but also low flex. As a result, the head does not feel too tinny or hard, a common issue with many competitors in this segment. Furthermore, it reinforces the head, making it stronger and more durable. Another notable feature is the type of foam used for this racket. It is a soft performance foam for extra energy return to the ball, more touch, and more comfort. In addition to the well-known 2-to-1 aluminized carbon, the head is reinforced with 16k carbon.

Furthermore, this racket features the well-known customization option through the weights on the sides of the head, now also at the 12 o'clock position. This allows you to tune your racket by 11.2 grams, letting you adjust both the weight and the balance. A special tool is provided with this racket for this purpose. It also comes with a separate protective strip (top tape) and a racket bag. The rough 'Spin Blade' surface for extra grip on the ball completes the package.
