Playing features Head Boom Pro 2022:

The Boom Pro offers a nice mix of power, control and agility, where the lighter MP version excels in terms of power and agility. This Pro version is better balanced in that regard. The low 31.0 balance makes the 310 gram (unstrung) easy to maneuver, both from the baseline and at the net. The new Auxetic material that Head uses around the heart of the new rackets gives the feeling of a slightly longer ball contact. This gives the racket very fine control over the ball. Emotional balls (drop shots, stop volleys) can also be played with a lot of feeling. When serving, it is also noticeable that this racket has slightly more mass than the MP version. Services can be played with a lot of speed, but in a controllable manner.

All in all, the Boom Pro 2022 is a very interesting all-rounder for the intermediate to advanced player. With a swingweight of 325, this racket does not feel overly heavy, but it does contain more than enough mass for sufficient punch.
