Playing features Head Speed Pro Legend 2024:
The Speed Pro remains a very versatile racket with a strong mix of power and control, but still houses a few noticeable innovations. Auxetic already gives/gave the Head rackets a very refined playing feel. The new Speeds use Auxetic 2.0. This material - positioned in the handle and around the heart of the racket - provides extra stability and a unique feeling at ball impact. You continue to have a nice connection with/control over the ball, only without unnecessary vibrations. Partly due to the improved stability, Head has been able to lower the RA value (stiffness) by 2 points. This nice low RA of 60 provides comfort and touch.
The swingweight, on the other hand, has been further increased to 330+. This gives the racket an incredibly full playing feel. If you have the muscle to get this mass behind the ball in time, you will easily get a full, heavy ball in return - as in power and length in your strokes. The stability is also impressive. Despite the low RA, this racket feels super solid. The lower RA (this was 62 for the 2022 version of the Pro) in turn gives the racket excellent comfort and a refined touch for balls on feeling.
All in all, you need quite a bit of muscle and/or a full big swing to get this Head Speed Pro Legend 2024 around, but if you have that, you get a lot in return. An excellent mix of power and control, touch and impressive stability. And all of this in a one-off glossy pro-stock-like limited edition Novak Djokovic version. In terms of cosmetics one of the most beautiful rackets of this year!
Also available in the lighter Speed MP Legend 2024!
The Head Speed Pro Legend 2024 is a limited edition glossy black Novak Djokovic version of the well-known Speed Pro. With 310 grams unstrung and an 18x20 stringing pattern, this is one of the few control-oriented 100 sq/inch rackets in this weight class.
