Spin and comfort

Just like the Solstice Power, the string uses the well-known star-shaped construction, hence the same 'first name', so to speak. This six-point construction provides an unprecedented grip on the ball, as well as more snapback of the longitudinal string. This combination creates strong topspin. However, the Diadem Solstice Black 200m is clearly softer than the Solstice Power. This means the string offers excellent comfort by poly standards. This makes the Solstice Black an ideal string for the player who wants to try a polyester string for the first time. The comfort, combined with strong spin, are the unique properties of this Diadem string. Due to the flexible nature of this string, 10% pre-stretch is recommended when stringing. This ensures better tension maintenance and more consistency.

For extra feeling and comfort, choose the thinner versions. For the frequent string breakers among us, the 16L (1.25) and 16 (1.30) versions are for extra durability.

*Diadem recommends tensioning this string at least 5% less hard than a traditional string. 10% pre-stretch with this string is therefore recommended!
