For this long-awaited update of the Clash racket family, Wilson has made a number of adjustments. For example, SI3D technology has been added to the graphite lay-up for longer ball contact: the ball practically stays 'stuck' in your string bed a little longer before it releases the ball. This provides more direction and control. This is the so-called horizontal flexing of the frame.
The vertical flexing of the frame has been maximized, which provides easy (access to) spin.
One of the biggest points of feedback was the instability/flex of the previous versions. This naturally gives the Clash its unique playing feel. However, Wilson has successfully worked on this. Hit Stabilizer provides a more stable playing feel and less twisting of the racket. So on the one hand you keep the familiar Clash playing feel (this goes back more to the feel of the V1), but on the other hand you gain stability.
All this results in a super comfortable and user-friendly racket at 280 grams. Due to the low swingweight, this racket is very easy to maneuver. Highly recommended for the ambitious junior player or for someone looking for lightweight ease of use and comfort!
