The Shift 99 Pro is rightly the heavier brother of the regular Shift 99. This racket has a little bit more of everything. With 315 grams unstrung and a 332 swingweight, this racket is not easy to push away. The 18x20 stringing pattern is super compact in the sweet spot (no less than 10 strings go through the yoke/heart piece of the racket - unique in this day and age!) but the sweet spot still feels controlled generous. Balls can be hit full with confidence. The frame is stable on flatter hits, but bends more when you comb more over the ball on shots with spin. This provides more margin in your shots. It is a special playing feeling, like you will not experience with any other Wilson racket line. All in all, the Wilson Shift 99 Pro V1 is a solid weapon for the player looking for control and spin!
