As we have come to expect from Yonex, the new EZONE rackets are packed with plenty of technical features. For 2025, Yonex's most important racket family, the EZONE, was due for an update! This is already the 8th version of the EZONE. New in this update is an enlarged sweet spot, achieved by an adjustment to the Isometric head shape: the upper flat section has been widened. In addition, the frame thickness at the top of the head has also been adjusted. The frame is slightly thicker here for extra power. The 'inside' of the frame tapers more to allow for greater ball pocketing, which benefits power and rotation. Furthermore, the biggest change is in the shaft/throat of the racket. Minolon has been used here in the graphite lay-up. This material provides a smooth and comfortable feel at ball impact. Together with the well-known VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh) in the handle/grip, this ensures extra comfort.

This latest version of the EZONE 100 truly lives up to its name! The new slogan for the 'easy one' is Play Full Power, and that is no lie. This racket offers a substantial dose of power, but with comfort and while maintaining more control than expected. I cannot really name any weak points for this racket, except that it might occasionally offer too much power. A little extra rotation (spin) in your shots certainly wouldn't hurt.
