Yonex Muse 100L
The Yonex Muse 100L offers a unique combination of comfort, speed, power and ease of play like Yonex has never before brought together in a racket. According to Yonex, the Muse is "the most user-friendly tennis racket in Yonex history", which came about after 5 years of development. This Muse 100L (the L stands for Light) weighs 280 grams and has a relatively low balance point of 32.5 for a racket in this weight class, making the racket super easy to maneuver.
A number of things immediately stand out about the Muse 100L: for one, the racket has a special 'Energy Flow Shaft'. The Energy Flow Shaft is a control-oriented shaft that efficiently transfers power with an easy-to-control feel, despite its slim profile. The carefully designed concave shape balances stiffness and flexibility and is enhanced by Servo Filter — an elastic and highly adhesive material that dampens vibrations and refines ball feel. Together, these elements provide smooth power and stable control during every rally. If you look at the frame from the side, you will see a very slim shaft that widens into a broader profile in the head and at the top of the racket for more power and stability. The slim shaft provides a smooth, forgiving feel.
In addition to the characteristic Isometric head shape - which increases the effective hitting zone for the ball - the Yonex Muse 100L makes use of Uniform Impact Grommets. These grommets (through which both the length and cross strings pass) are located at the four corners of the frame and have a unique straight grommet structure. This results in an enlarged sweet spot and thus also a more even and forgiving response on both pure and off-center shots, which increases comfort and control during rallies.
The pearl-grey frame completes the look and gives the racket a clean, chic appearance! The Muse 100L has a 100 sq/inch head and weighs 280 grams with an unstrung balance of 32.5. You can find the further specs below.
