Playing characteristics of the Babolat Pure Drive Gen11:

A summary of our findings:

It's old-fashioned blasting from the baseline with this Pure Drive 2025! The racket is very easy to play with and offers a generous dose of free power. I recently tested the new Head Gravity Tour 2025; this was quite a change. The Gravity Tour offers more feel and precision, while the Pure Drive makes it easier to pick up pace. Groundstrokes were therefore very easy to hit with plenty of depth and speed. The solid power was also particularly noticeable on returns. I really enjoy returning with this racket! The swingweight (at least on our demo) is not excessively high at 314, making the racket quick to get into position.

In terms of stability, I missed a bit of mass when under pressure, but a small amount of lead at 3 and 9 o'clock will already make a big difference. The spin potential is excellent; you can easily generate spin and slices with this racket. Of course, not as easily as with a Pure Aero, but still above average.
