Power, control and tension maintenance

See our full review of the 16L version of this Pro X here. What immediately stands out is the instant playing feel of the new Pro X string. The string has a quick response/a slightly shorter ball-string contact, somewhat comparable to a Luxilon Alu Power 1.25. The string feels slightly stiffer than the Solstice Power string by Diadem which grips the ball a bit more in the string bed. The Solstice Power provides more (extreme) spin due to this extra ball pocketing. This Pro X has enough spin to keep a margin in your shots thanks to its slightly less coarse hexagonal structure, but this string therefore offers more direct control over the ball. Another plus point of this string is the tension maintenance. The string continues to perform consistently, even after extended use.
