Playing features Head Speed ​​MP 2024:

The new Speed ​​MP fortunately maintains the strong mix of power and control, but still houses a few noticeable innovations. Auxetic already gives/gave the Head rackets a very refined playing feel. The new Speeds use Auxetic 2.0. This material - positioned in the handle and around the heart of the racket - provides extra stability and a unique feeling at ball impact. You continue to have a nice connection with/control over the ball, only without unnecessary vibrations. Partly due to the improved stability, Head has been able to lower the RA value (stiffness) by 2 points. This nice low RA of 60 provides comfort and touch.

On the other hand, the swingweight has been significantly increased (330+ in this 2024 variant vs. 323 in the 2022 version). This may make the racket slightly slower than its predecessor, but you do get a clearly fuller ball in return. The racket is also less easy to push away. However, not everyone can handle a 330+ swingweight. So you will have to bring some strength and/or good technique yourself. Especially from the baseline and at the net, this racket feels super solid, with more than enough touch and nice comfort. Our extensive review of the Speed ​​MP 2024 will follow soon.
