Technology and playing features Prince Synergy 98:

The brand new Synergy 98 uses the Textreme 2.5 material construction. Textreme (light, but very torsionally stiff) is combined with Twaron for extra feel and cushioning. In addition, Prince uses the ATS (Anti Torque System) technology around the heart piece and at 10 and 2 o'clock in the blade. What is also striking is the special texture of the racket head. The blade has the texture of a golf ball for reduced air resistance. Furthermore, the nice low RA of 60 and the unique 18x18 stringing pattern are striking.

This results in a racket with a special mix of power and control, stability, speed and touch. This Synergy 98 has more power than the Phantoms, but plays clearly more controlled than the Beast series. The balance between power and control is nice, and there is absolutely sufficient mass behind the ball, as evidenced by the swingweight of 334. This results in fine plow through and stability. This racket is not easy to push away! The sweet spot does not feel overly large with this racket. This does require the necessary technique from the player himself.

The low RA of 60 gives the racket a lot of touch and a comfortable feel. And then the unique 18x18 stringing pattern! This provides more control than a 16x19 stringing pattern, but also more liveliness and dynamics than an 18x20 stringing pattern. All this makes the Prince Synergy 98 a unique racket in the 305 gram and 98 sq/inch category.
