For the Wilson Blade 100 Pro V10, Wilson uses the popular mold from the old Steam 100 BLX for a strong mix of control, power, and speed!
This new addition to the Blade racket family is a super all-rounder at 295 grams with a 16x20 string pattern for a nice mix of control and spin. With a 23mm beam, this frame is just a bit thicker than its Blade V10 siblings, giving the racket solid, controlled power to easily get pace and depth into your shots. The racket has a very fast feel due to the sub-320 swingweight, allowing you to easily generate rackethead speed for good access to spin.
Finally, the racket is 1/4 inch longer, just like the Steam 100 was. This gives the racket just a bit more push on the ball, which is particularly noticeable from the baseline. Because this mold remained highly popular for so long, especially on the WTA Tour, Wilson has now successfully integrated it into the current collection as the Blade 100 Pro V10. All in all, the Wilson Blade 100 Pro V10 is a wonderful racket that excels in controlled power, speed, and spin.
