Technology and playing characteristics of the Wilson Clash 100 Pro V3:

For this long-awaited update of the Clash racket family, Wilson has made a number of adjustments. For example, SI3D technology has been added to the graphite layup for longer ball contact: the ball effectively stays in your string bed a little longer before being released. This provides more direction and control. This is the so-called horizontal flexing of the frame.

The vertical flexing of the frame has been maximized, which makes it easier to generate spin.

One of the biggest points of feedback was the instability of the previous versions. This naturally gives the Clash its unique feel. However, Wilson has successfully addressed this. Hit Stabilizer provides a more stable feel and reduces racket twisting. So on the one hand, you retain the familiar Clash feel (this goes back more to the feel of the V1), but on the other hand, you gain stability.

All of this results in a super user-friendly and comfortable racket with excellent spin potential and plenty of speed. This Wilson Clash 100 Pro offers an extra bit of control compared to the 'regular' 100 of 295 grams thanks to the 16x20 string pattern. Due to the higher static weight and the balance point being 0.5 cm higher, you can more easily produce a full ball with this Pro version. Logically, the racket also offers more plough-through, or mass in the ball. This is clearly noticeable with groundstrokes such as slice backhands.

All in all, this Clash 100 Pro V3 is a racket that easily produces a full ball, with additional control and fine spin potential in a super arm-friendly package!
