For this long-awaited update to the Clash racket family, Wilson has made a number of adjustments. For instance, SI3D technology has been added to the graphite lay-up for longer ball contact: the ball stays 'stuck' in your string bed for slightly longer before being released. This provides more directional control and accuracy. This refers to the horizontal bending of the frame.

The vertical bending of the frame has been maximized, which allows for easy access to spin.

One of the biggest points of feedback was the instability of the previous versions. This, of course, gives the Clash its unique feel. Nevertheless, Wilson has successfully tweaked this. Hit Stabilizer ensures a more stable feel and less racket twisting. So, on one hand, you retain the familiar Clash feel (this leans more towards the feel of the V1), but on the other hand, you gain stability.

All this results in a super user-friendly and comfortable racket with great spin potential and plenty of speed. A great update to the Clash 100, then, and this racket remains one of the most arm-friendly options on the market!
