Playing characteristics Yonex EZONE 100 Blast Blue 2025:

As is well known from Yonex, there are more than enough technical gadgets in the new EZONE rackets. For 2025, Yonex's most important racket family is the EZONE, so an update was due! This is already version 8 of the EZONE. New in this update is an enlargement of the sweetspot, through an adjustment in the Isometric head shape: the top flat part has been widened. In addition, the frame thickness at the top of the head has also been adjusted. The frame is slightly thicker here for extra power. The 'inside' of the frame tapers a bit more for more ball pocketing, which benefits the power and rotation. Furthermore, the biggest adjustment is in the shaft/the heart of the racket. Minolon has been used here in the graphite lay-up. This material provides a smooth and comfortable feel at ball impact. Together with the well-known VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh) in the handle/grip, this provides extra comfort.

This latest version of the EZONE 100 really lives up to its name! The new slogan of the 'easy one' is Play Full Power and there is no lie to that. This racket really offers a hefty dose of power, but with comfort and with the preservation of more control than expected. I can't really name any weak points with this racket, except that it might be too much power occasionally. A little extra rotation (spin) in your shots can't hurt. And if you are looking for something more controlled power, then definitely check out the EZONE 98 2025, for which we will also come out with an extensive review soon! All in all, an excellent update of the EZONE 100.
