Intro:
From August 25, 2022, Babolat will launch the new Pure Aero 2023 . First, the regular 300 gram version and the 285 gram Team version will be introduced. In January 2023, other models will follow, including the Pure Aero 98 , the successor to the popular Pure Aero VS. The new Pure Aero and Pure Aero Team are already available in our webshop , including free stringing of your choice.
Innovations Pure Aero 2023:
The biggest innovation for the Pure Aero 2023 is that the density of the string bed has been adjusted. This means that the extremely open meshes of the previous versions have been replaced by a slightly more compact stringing pattern. The 16x19 stringing pattern remains, but is therefore somewhat more compact, which is particularly noticeable in the sweet spot. In that respect, the racket goes back a little more to the Aeropro Drive from a few years ago. The big advantage of this is more control, where the well-known spin and speed have remained. The swingweight of the 300 gram version has also been reduced slightly (to 322 vs 324 of the previous version). This makes the racket feel a bit faster, but above all it is more accessible to a large group of players. The 'glossy' paintjob also feels very chic and resembles that of the current Pure Aero VS, which Carlos Alcaraz plays with, among others. In addition, the comfort has also been increased slightly: the RA (stiffness) is now 65 for the 300 gram version, where it was 67 for the previous version. So the racket is less stiff. To give the racket a further boost in comfort, Babolat uses a new technology called NF2. This means that special Flax (yes you read that right - this is not a typo) inserts have been placed in the grip scales and at the top of the blade. This provides a nice upgrade in damping, without the racket missing the well-known crisp Pure Aero playing feel, fortunately. Despite the fact that the stringing pattern has become more compact for more control, the FSI Spin technology remains. So don't worry: the spin has remained! Only now it is more controlled. Of course, the trademark aerodynamic frame construction, in this case Aeromodular3, has also remained. This is partly why the racket is so nice and fast to get around easily.

This makes it easier for players, such as young tennis players, to generate spin with the lighter models.
