Novelties Babolat Pure Aero 2019
There are a number of subtle novelties to the new Pure Aero that together provide a different playing feeling. This new version goes back to the basics of the successful Aeropro Drive. The last/previous Pure Aero was experienced by some as a bit tinny and stiff. Nevertheless, it was a solid weapon in terms of power and spin. The new version should provide more feeling, stability and cushioning without compromising on spin and power.
Technology
Babolat has developed
Carbon Ply Stabilizer in collaboration with Chomarat. Special high-performance carbon fibers provide more control and stability. And just like with the Pure Drive 2018, Babolat uses the
Cortex Pure Feel technology that was developed together with SMAC. SMAC is a well-known player in space technology. Cortex Pure Feel provides better vibration damping and more feel with the ball. In addition, the Babolat Pure Aero Roland Garros 2019 has enlarged tubing at 6 and 12 o'clock in the frame called
FSI Spin . This provides more freedom of movement and snapback of the longitudinal strings for strong spin. The
Aeromodular3 frame construction not only strings easier, but also swings easier for more racket head speed. The bumper and grommets are integrated into the frame.
All in all, a very strong update of the Pure Aero that gives the racket more stability, control and comfort, without sacrificing power and spin. This Pure Aero plays clearly more consistently than its predecessor. The
