The Head Graphene XT Prestige racket family for 2016 and 2017 will be released in mid-January. What can we expect from these new guns?
The Graphene XT material should provide more stability and maneuverability. This second generation of Graphene is even stronger and lighter, allowing Head to transfer even more weight from the heart of the racket to the top and to the grip. The extra weight to the top of the racket should provide more stability in the head on off-center hits, something that should be noticeable on the return, for example. The extra weight transferred to the other end (the grip) of the racket, in turn, provides extra maneuverability.
The Head Graphene XT Prestige racket family consists of the following models:
- Prestige Pro : 98 sq/inch, 315 grams, 31.5 cm balance, 16/19 stringing pattern, RA 63 The dynamic 16/19 stringing pattern in combination with the heavy weight makes this the most aggressive Prestige in the range, suitable for the powerhouses among us.
- Prestige Rev Pro : 93 sq/inch, 300 grams, 31.5 cm balance, 16/19 stringing pattern, RA 59 This Prestige is most suitable for the ambitious youth player with good power and technique who is looking for control in a fast, easy racket to maneuver.
- Prestige MP : 98 sq/inch, 320 grams, 31.0 cm balance, 18/20 stringing pattern, RA 65 The classic is the Prestige MP: the 320 grams and the compact stringing pattern provide unprecedented control, while the 31.0 cm balance makes the racket good makes it agile.
- Prestige S : 98 sq/inch, 305 grams, 32.0 cm balance, 16/19 stringing pattern, RA 62. Due to its weight, balance point and open stringing pattern, this is the most accessible Prestige of the new silo.
