The Extreme racket line from Head, the line for spin fanatics within the Head racket families, is getting an 'extreme' brother: the Head Graphene XT Extreme MP A gives you the choice of two stringing patterns: regular 16/19 or open 16/16 for extreme spin!
Brand: Head Model: Graphene XT Extreme MP A Head size: 100 sq/inch Weight: 300 gr Balance: 32.0 cm Stringing pattern: 16/19 or 16/16 Length: 27 inch RA: 66
In addition to a sleek new look, Head is also introducing the renewed Graphene XT material in the Extreme racket line. This material is 30% stronger than regular Graphene, which should ensure better weight distribution in the rackets and therefore easier maneuverability of the hitting weapons. The Extreme racket line is characterized by a fairly round casing in terms of frame construction, for more power. Furthermore, with the (strikingly) round blade shape you can get under the ball more easily (ideal for players with more extreme grip positions), making the ball easy to 'grab' in the blade for extra spin and slice. The figurehead of this line is Wimbledon semi-finalist Richard Gasquet.
New in this racket line is the Head Graphene XT Extreme MP A. This racket is the successor to the Head Graphene Extreme MP and retains the same specs, with one major difference: the Graphene XT Extreme MP A has the Adaptive String Pattern (ASP) technology, which allows you to choose between a regular 16/19 stringing pattern or an open 16/16 stringing pattern by changing the tubing edges at 3 and 9 o'clock in the racket.
So, are you looking for spin, but are you hesitating between a regular racket and a spin racket (a racket with only an open stringing pattern)? With the new Head Graphene XT Extreme MP A you have the best of both worlds! Comparable rackets: Wilson Burn 100S, Yonex EZONE Ai 98 (310) and the Babolat Pure Aero.
