In addition to the 3 existing models, 3 more models are being added. Two of them are box-beam frames and are the actual successors of the Pure Control series. #ProjectOne7 becomes Babolat Pure Strike 2017 Last September was the release of the first 3 Babolat Pure Strike 2017 rackets. Babolat chose the color scheme of the #ProjectOne7 rackets. These blank frames were released as a teaser for this new Pure Strike series. However, the response to this was so good that Babolat decided against the original red-and-black design for this updated racket line. Full Babolat Pure Strike 2017 lineup known Babolat released the first 3 frames of the new Pure Strike series last September in the predominantly white ProjectOne7 color scheme. In January 2017, 3 more frames will be added to complete the series, all in the same color scheme. Two of these are box-beam frames, like the former Pure Control series had. The last racket is the Pure Strike in an 18/20 string pattern. Below you will find the complete Babolat Pure Strike 2017 racket collection at a glance!

Babolat Pure Strike VS Tour The Babolat Pure Strike VS Tour is the successor to the Pure Control Tour and has the same box-beam (flat, square) frame construction. This gives the racket a lot of extra (traditional) ball feel. However, the heaviest racket in the new Pure Strike series requires a good amount of technique and muscle from the player. The low 31.0 balance does make this heavier racket quite maneuverable. Babolat Pure Strike VS The Babolat Pure Strike VS also has the flat box-beam frame construction. However, at 295 grams and a more 'even-balance' of 32.5, this version is much more versatile. The racket has a 16/20 string pattern in a 98 sq/inch head, just like the heavier VS Tour.
Babolat Pure Strike 18/20 Unlike the previous 2 rackets, the Babolat Pure Strike 18/20 has a 'normal' frame construction. This is the racket with the most compact and control-oriented string pattern. However, Babolat sees the 16/19 version of this racket as the most accessible. This is due to the arrival of increasingly better polyester strings and because spin and ball rotation are becoming an increasingly important part of the game. Please note: this is the only performance racket that Babolat still offers in an 18/20 string pattern! Reviews of the 3 new Pure Strike frames will follow shortly.
