#ProjectOne7 becomes Babolat Pure Strike 2017 Last September saw the release of the first 3 Babolat Pure Strike 2017 rackets . Babolat chose the color scheme of the #ProjectOne7 rackets. These blank frames were released as a teaser for this new Pure Strike series. However, the response was so good that Babolat decided against the original red-black design for this renewed racket line. Complete line-up Babolat Pure Strike 2017 announced Last September, Babolat released the first 3 frames of the new Pure Strike series in the predominantly white ProjectOne7 color scheme. In January 2017, 3 more frames will be added to complete the series, all in the same color scheme. These include two box-beam frames, like the former Pure Control series had. The last racket is the Pure Strike in 18/20 stringing pattern. Below you will find the complete Babolat Pure Strike 2017 racket collection in an overview!
In September Babolat launched these 3 Pure Strike 2017 frames. Please note: the RA value (stiffness) here concerns the unstrung rackets.

- Pure Strike 100: 100 sq/inch, 300 grams, 32.0 balance, 16/19 stringing pattern, RA 70
- Pure Strike Team: 100 sq/inch, 285 grams, 33.0 balance, 16/19 stringing pattern, RA 70
- Pure Strike VS Tour: 98 sq/inch, 320 grams, 31.0 balance, 16/20 stringing pattern, RA 67
- Pure Strike USA: 98 sq/inch, 295 grams, 32.5 balance, 16/20 stringing pattern, RA 67
- Pure Strike 18/20: 98 sq/inch, 305 grams, 32.0 balance and 18/20 stringing pattern, RA 70
Babolat Pure Strike VS Tour The Babolat Pure Strike VS Tour is the successor to the Pure Control Tour and has the same box-beam (flat, level) frame construction. This gives the racket extra (traditional) ball feel. This heaviest racket from the new Pure Strike series does require the necessary technique and muscles from the player himself. The low 31.0 balance makes this heavier racket very maneuverable. Babolat Pure Strike VS The Babolat Pure Strike VS also has the flat box-beam frame construction. This version is, however, much more versatile with 295 grams and a more 'even-balance' of 32.5. The racket has, just like the heavier VS Tour, a 16/20 stringing pattern in a 98 sq/inch head.
Babolat Pure Strike 18/20 The Babolat Pure Strike 18/20 has, in contrast to the previous 2 rackets, a 'normal' frame construction. This is the racket with the most compact and control-oriented stringing pattern. Babolat sees the 16/19 variant of this racket as the most accessible. This is due to the arrival of increasingly better polyester strings and because spin and ball rotation are becoming an increasingly important part of the game. Please note: this is the only performance racket that Babolat still offers in an 18/20 stringing pattern! Reviews of the 3 new Pure Strike frames will follow soon. The Pure Strike 16/19 2017 and the Pure Strike Team 2017 are now available in our webshop!
