Head comes with a whole new racket technology called MXG. Here you can find everything about the new Head MXG 3 and Head MXG 5 rackets !
Head MXG: Injected magnesium bridge
What immediately stands out about this whole new racket family from Head is the heart section of the rackets. The Head MXG 3 and Head MXG 5 work with an injected magnesium bridge. The twisting (deformation) of the racket takes place largely in this section of the racket. Due to this new construction, Head ensures a super stable/torsionally stiff frame. According to Head, this should ensure the best possible combination of power and control! In addition, the weight of the racket can be kept relatively low due to the use of magnesium. The Head MXG 3 and MXG 5 are now available in our webshop, including free Head Primal stringing!
Advantages and playing characteristics Head MXG
As described above, the advantages of the new bridge of the Head MXG rackets are extra stability for optimal ball control. In addition, the bridge also provides an 'extension' of the main strings, which in turn provides extra power. In addition, Head uses the Graphene Touch material in the rackets for extra touch and less shock impact. This is reinforced by a built-in damping system in the bridge of the rackets.Specifications Head MXG 3 and Head MXG 5
Head will launch two new rackets from this MXG series at the beginning of May: the Head MXG 3 and the Head MXG 5. Below you will find the specifications of the rackets.
Head MXG 3: 100 sq/inch, 295 gr, 32.5 balance, 16/18 string pattern, 27 inch length Head MXG 5: 105 sq/inch, 275 gr, 33.5 balance, 16/18 string pattern, 27.2 inch length We are also very curious about the RA values (stiffness) of both rackets. These are not yet known and we will add them later. The recommended retail price is already known and at 249.99 euros it is not bad for rackets with so many technological applications! The RA values are now also known: the MXG 3 has an RA of 72 and is therefore quite stiff. The MXG 5 has an RA of 68.
