We had to wait a long time for news from Prince, until the groundbreaking Prince Textreme Phantom 100 was released in the summer. This ultra-thin frame combines Textreme with O3 technology in the thinnest frame on the market with a very low RA value of 60. Now Prince is continuing with the successor to the Textreme rackets: Prince Textreme2.

In mid-November 2017, Prince is introducing 4 new models with Textreme2 technology. Textreme is successfully used not only in rackets but also in time trial bikes, field hockey sticks, and race cars. Textreme is not so much a material, but a new way of weaving carbon, allowing for higher torsional stiffness. Prince has successfully applied this around the heart of the tennis rackets for a very solid, controlled playing feel, without extra strain on the arm. Now follows the upgrade to Textreme2. In Textreme2, Prince adds the material Twaron for improved ball feel and a more dampened sound and feel on ball impact. 

4 new Prince Textreme2 models

Prince is introducing Textreme2 in 4 new models, where comfort and arm-friendliness remain central. Here is a little spoiler: the Warrior series from Prince is being discontinued and will be replaced by the Beast series. These 4 new Textreme2 models also come from this new Beast series. What stands out is that the rather popular 107 sq/inch head size makes way for a slightly sportier 104 sq/inch head size. All 4 new models feature this 104 sq/inch head size, a 16/19 string pattern, and an RA value of 69. The difference lies in the different weight classes and balance points. In addition, there are 'closed' rackets and rackets with the well-known O3 ports for an enlarged sweetspot and extra dampening.
