We had to wait a long time for news from Prince, until the groundbreaking Prince Textreme Phantom 100 was released this summer. This ultra-narrow frame combines Textreme with O3 technology in the thinnest frame on the market with a very low RA value of 60. Now Prince continues with the sequel to the Textreme rackets: Prince Textreme2.

Prince Textreme2 with Twaron

Prince will release 4 new models with Textreme2 technology before mid-November 2017. In addition to rackets, Textreme is successfully used in time trial bicycles, ice hockey sticks and racing cars, among others. Textreme is not so much a material, but a new way of weaving carbon, which allows for higher torsional stiffness. Prince has successfully applied this around the heart of the tennis rackets for a very solid, controlled playing feeling, without extra strain on the arm. So now the upgrade to Textreme2 follows. In Textreme2, Prince adds the material Twaron for improved ball feeling and a more muted sound and feel at ball impact.

4 new Prince Textreme2 models

Prince introduces Textreme2 in 4 new models, where comfort and arm-friendliness remain central. A tip from the shutterbug: Prince's Warrior series will be discontinued and will be succeeded by the Beast series. These 4 new Textreme2 models also come from this new Beast series. What is striking is that the popular 107 sq/inch top size is making way for a slightly sportier 104 sq/inch top size. All 4 new models work with this 104 sq/inch head size, a 16/19 stringing pattern and an RA value of 69. The difference is in the different weight classes and balance points. In addition, there are 'closed' rackets and rackets with the well-known O3 ports for an enlargement of the sweet spot and extra cushioning.
