The new Yonex Percept 2023 racket series will be released soon. This series will succeed the VCORE Pro series and contains, besides a number of interesting technologies, also an interesting line-up if you ask us!
Intro:
Yonex has four main racket families:
- EZONE : The best known, focused on ease of play and power.
- VCORE : For maximum spin.
- Astrel : The most comfortable and arm-friendly series.
- VCORE Pro : Built for control, and the racket of choice for players like Wawrinka and Tiafoe.
Because the names VCORE (spin) and VCORE Pro (control) sometimes caused confusion, Yonex decided to rename the VCORE Pro series to Percept . The Percept rackets will still focus on control, but with some important updates and new technologies.

Technology Yonex PERCEPT 2023:
Yonex has equipped the Percept series with new technologies to further improve performance. Here are the main innovations:
-
Servo Filter : This filter selectively dampens vibrations. It is placed between the graphite layers and provides more flex at ball impact and dampens unwanted vibrations, up to 13% more than rackets without Servo Filter. This increases ball feel and control.
-
2G-Namd Flex Force : Combined with the Servo Filter in the heart of the racket, this provides more 'ball pocketing,' which benefits spin and control.
-
Reinforced Blade : The blade has been made slightly stiffer for 3% more stability. This also contributes to slightly more power.
These technological additions provide an improved playing feel, more control, and better ball control.
Conclusion
The new Yonex Percept 2023 series offers improved stability, power and spin, without compromising the signature control of the VCORE Pro series. With new technologies such as the Servo Filter and 2G-Namd Flex Force, Yonex is targeting players looking for ultimate control and feel. The line-up offers something for everyone, from heavier frames to lighter models, and we look forward to testing some models soon!
