Technology and playing characteristics of the Diadem Axis Team 100:
The all-new Axis series incorporates all of Diadem's top technologies. FS3 (Flex Stabilization System 3) is a triple carbon rib structure within the racket wall/tubing construction. This ensures that the racket twists less and offers a super solid feel upon ball impact. Just like with the Elevate V3, Kraibon is now wrapped around the rib structure. This is an elastomer widely used in the motorsport and aerospace industries. This material has excellent damping properties and, in combination with the foam (in the entire tubing construction of the racket), filters out many harmful vibrations. HMT Carbon around the heart of the racket and at 3 and 9 o'clock in the hoop then provides a direct feel and power.
From the baseline, this racket performs surprisingly well! Despite its light (unstrung) weight of 280 grams, the racket plays very stably. Much more stable than the typical spin frames from competitors. What is also striking is that the racket is very comfortable on the arm; there are hardly any, if any, annoying vibrations coming through.
As expected, the racket is easy and fast to swing, allowing you to easily produce a full ball with spin. This racket is particularly suitable for ambitious juniors or anyone looking for lightweight spin and power. Serves with kick and slice are also easy to play. What is also interesting is that the racket actually feels more stable than its weight would suggest. All in all, the Axis Team 100 is a surprising newcomer in the spin category!
