1. Yonex Percept 100D
What a wonderful racket! A very fine example of Japanese craftsmanship leads to a racket with a wonderful mix of power, control, ball feel, comfort and solid spin. The playing feel of the Yonex Percept 100D is something you really have to experience yourself. The Percept 97 of 310 grams also turned out to be a bull's eye!
2. Babolat Pure Aero 98
The Pure Aero 98 from Babolat is the racket of Carlos Alcaraz and Holger Rune, although Rune is currently testing the Pure Strike 2024. The racket is fast, offers easy access to spin and is nicely balanced between power and control. All the good things of the Pure Aero only with more control and feel!
3. Head Radical MP 2023
The previous Radical MP already performed very well, but the addition of Auxetic gives the Head Radical MP 2023 even more feeling and a finer control over the ball. All this with the well-known versatility that the Radical has traditionally offered: a super all-rounder that performs on all fronts!
4. Wilson Shift 99 V1
The Wilson Shift is stable on flat balls, but the frame 'flexes' more as you comb over the ball. This increases the spin. Whether you like it or not: it is certainly a unique playing experience!
5. ASICS Gel Resolution 9
The ASICS Gel Resolution 9 is in our opinion the ultimate shoe for the baseliner! The shoe offers excellent stability and durability and in addition the comfort is also excellent! And the fit has been adjusted slightly, making it a nice option for the player with a somewhat wider foot.
6. Diadem Elevate 98 V3
The Diadem Elevate 98 V3 has a pro-stock like feel. This racket is bizarrely stable and for a racket in this genre also very comfortable. Very nice control racket with arm-friendliness and beautiful looks! After all, the eye wants something too...;) Also the heavier Tour version and the lighter Lite variant of 290 grams play like a charm.
7. Luxilon Eco Power 1.25
A great initiative by Luxilon! The Eco Power 1.25 is made entirely from recycled materials. Because let's be honest: we throw away a lot of strings (old and residual waste from new) and packaging materials when stringing. This is a great first step and the string itself has very pleasant playing characteristics! Now it's actually time to start collecting old strings to have new ones made!
8. Wilson Pro Staff X V14
The Wilson Pro Staff X V14 is a slightly more forgiving Pro Staff at 315 grams. Recommended for the classic Pro Staff player for whom the smaller 97 sq/inch options are a bit too demanding. The classic Pro Staff feel, but with a bit more power. The 'regular' Pro Staff 97 V14 was also very well received.
9. Dunlop FX 500 2023
Of all the new FX rackets, the 300 gram Dunlop FX 500 is by far our favorite. Nice free power, without immediately flying off the bend. The racket also has a very solid playing feel.
10. Head Gravity MP 2023
In terms of looks, the Head Gravity MP 2023 is one of the most beautiful rackets of the year. In terms of playing characteristics, the racket certainly holds its own! The racket has a very predictable and consistent playing feel with fine stability.
